Laughlin

So we went to Laughlin this last weekend for Ry's mom's birthday. we took the boat but it was a lot windier than expected so Ry and Robyn just went out once. The boat was kind of slow this time in the water and when Ry got home he checked and ..there was no oil in it at all! The lessons you learn when having a new boat. Lucky for them it didn't blow up on the water. Robyn's face would have been priceless driving him on the wakeboard in the back. Hannah did fairly well considering she was trapped in a single room for four full days. We ended up going to the store and buying a portable DVD player because there was not one cartoon channel on the TV at all. Although she doesn't watch a lot of TV she couldn't possibly have four days without any, especially without all her toys from home, etc. We also bought her a small bucket of plastic animals and a barn from K-Mart. Boy did those come in handy. Next time we travel with child or children we will definitely rent out either a house or a condo. Kids need space to run. Needless to say, none of us struck gold in Laughlin, except for Hannah of course : ) Read the t-shirt on the first picture above, after four days with her in Laughlin I had to buy it to commemorate the trip!

Hannah is too cute ;) Yes, it's hard to keep a child in a small room with no toys, no TV ... I'm glad you had a nice trip; too bad you didn't win a lot of gold ... except for the funny tee shirt ;)

Frogging is a stitcher word that mean taking out the stitches you made because you made a mistake: it happens to me a lot lately and drives me crazy !!! lol

LOL LOVE her Laughlin t-shirt! Hannah's hair is getting so long and so pretty! Glad you guys had a great time. Can't believe you haven't invested in a portable DVD player yet - those are lifesavers when traveling, we never leave home without ours! Last time we drove out to Laughline Madeline was about 6 months old and we brought along her exersaucer for the hotel room and that kept her entertained!

Ya good thing the boat didn't blow up!

Love the pics! Hannah is looking older each week.

I'm sorry the trip was kind of hard, but just remember there will be far easier trips in the future.

Take care.

The t-shirt is perfect in any situation with her. even when she is out of the diapers and her new little brother is in them she will still be the boss.
